Bio: Professor Jie Lu is the Head of School of Software in the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, and the Director of the Decision Systems and e-Service Intelligence Research Laboratory in the Centre for Quantum Computation & Intelligent Systems at the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS). Her main research interests lie in the area of disaster risk and emergency decision-making model, systems and tools, uncertain information processing, early warning systems, recommender systems and their applications in disaster risk and emergency management, e-Government, e-Business and e-Service intelligence. She has published five research books and more than 300 papers in refereed journals and conference proceedings. She has won five Australian Research Council (ARC) discovery grants, an Australian Learning & Teaching Council (ALTC) grant, and 10 other research and industry linkage grants. She received UTS Research Medal in 2010. She serves as Editor-In-Chief for Knowledge-Based Systems (Elsevier), Editor-In-Chief for International Journal of Computational Intelligence Systems (Atlantis/ Taylor and Francis),), editor for book series on Intelligent Information Systems (World Scientific) and guest editor of six special issues for international journals, as well as delivered six keynote speeches at international conferences.

报告人简介：路节教授现任悉尼科技大学工程与信息技术学部软件学院院长、量子计算与智能系统中心决策系统与电子智能服务研究实验室主任。主要研究方向包括灾害风险与应急决策模型、决策支持系统工具、模糊信息处理、早期预警系统、推荐系统、以及这些方法在灾害应急管理、电子政务、电子商务、电子智能服务领域的应用。已经出版了5部研究专著，发表了300余篇期刊和会议论文；已获得5项澳大利亚研究理事会(ARC)基金资助、1项澳大利亚学习和教学理事会奖金(ALTC)、10次研究和产业联动奖金；并获得2010年荣获悉尼科技大学教研一体研究卓越奖章。同时路节教授还担任SCI检索期刊《Knowledge-Based Systems》 (Elsevier)、《International Journal of Computational Intelligence Systems》(Atlantis/ Taylor and Francis)的主编，《Intelligent Information Systems 》(World Scientific)系列丛书的编辑，以及其他6个国际期刊特刊的客座编辑，并多次在国际会议上做主题演讲。
